Alice "Susie" M. Jordan

Alice M. "Susie" Jordan, 64, of S. 6th Street, Loving, New Mexico, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Graveside Services is scheduled for Thursday, September 1, 2011, 10:00 AM, at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park with Pastor Zack Palen officiating. The family will receive guests at 1013 Hambone Heights following Thursday's graveside service. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Alice M. "Susie" Jordan was born June 2, 1947 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Sterling William and Linnietta (Henderson) Jordan. She enjoyed fishing with her grandkids and spending time with family and friends. She loved Startrek and listening to music. Susie played in the high school band and also the Carlsbad Symphony. She retired from IMC as a Grade 10 mechanic. She was preceded in death by her parents: S. W. "Bill" and Linnietta Jordan; son, Lonnie Dunn; grandson, Conner Dunn and brothers: Jimmy Jordon and Earl Jordan. Survivors are her son, Loren Dunn and girlfriend, Kim; four grandchildren: Corbin Dunn, Kessa Dunn, Charay Dunn, Brayden Brunt; sister, Janice Foutch and husband, Tom; sister-in-law, Sally Miller; faithful companion, "Pumpkin" all of Carlsbad, NM; nephews: Guy Wohlfahart and wife, Carol of Greeley, Colorado, Ricky Foutch and wife, Rhonda of Carlsbad, NM; nieces: Kim Martinez and husband, Danny of Carlsbad, NM and Mary Ann Billett of Carlsbad, NM.
