Alex Jordan

Alex Jordan, 21, of N. 10th Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away September 11, 2015 at Carlsbad, New Mexico. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2015, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Phillip Price officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Alex Jordan was born August 9, 1994 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He lived in Carlsbad as a child and graduated from West Carter High School in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Alex married Stefenia Cothern on November 9, 2014 and recently moved to Carlsbad where he was working for Constructors, Inc. He loved spending time with his family, playing video games and dancing around the house. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Jessie Lester. Survivors are his wife, Stephenia Jordan of Carlsbad, NM; sons: Kaiser Jordan, Chandler Muse, expecting new baby Jordan; mother and step-father, Lena Jordan and Leon Ritchie; father, Craig Jordan; sisters: Tania Jordan, Makiah Johnson; brother, Jake Johnson; grandmother, Merna Black and husband, Charles; grandfather, Roger Harris; grandparents, Paul and Pauline Ayotte; mother-in-law, Teresa Evans; brother-in-law, Micah Cothern; uncle, Robby Harris; aunt, Charity Bock and husband, Justin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
