Albert F. Price

Albert F. Price, 56, of Cedar Street, Loving, NM, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2014 at his home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Loving Baptist Church with Pastor Dick Means officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Albert F. Price was born on April 26, 1957, in Carlsbad, NM to Jasper O. and Mary Ann (Howell) Price. He was a lifelong resident of Carlsbad. Albert graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1976. On August 17, 1978, he married Kaye Calk. She preceded him in death August 14, 2007. Albert worked for PCA until he went to work for IMC. He medically retired in 1997. Albert enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing. He was a volunteer fire fighter in Loving for over 28 years. Albert was a family man and loved spending time with family. He also enjoyed dirt track racing and doing body work on old cars. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kaye Price; sister, JoAnn Bock and brother, Jerry Price. Survivors are his sons: A. J. Price of Loving, NM Kevin Price of Loving, NM; father-in-law: Bob Calk of Loving, NM; brother, Clait Price of Hobbs, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Alex Brown, Glenn Hedgecock, George Brewer, Dennis Onsurez, Marty Calderon, Josh Hedrick, Vance McDonald, David McDonald, Shane McDonald, Mike Fierro, Cody Briones, Kaiden Carrasco and Jordan Lemme.
