Adolfo R. Buendia

Adolfo R. Buendia, 92, former resident, passed from this life peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends on March 14, 2023 in Midland, Texas.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday, March 20, 2023 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel followed by a vigil at 6:00 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating.  Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.  Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Adolfo was born December 22, 1930 in Carlsbad, NM to Mariano and Felicita (Ramirez) Buendia.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Delfino, Esteban and Benjamin; sisters: Enedina Garcia and Mariana Martinez.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Angelica Buendia; sons: Jose Adolfo Buendia, Miguel Buendia, Sr., David Lee Buendia, Raul Buendia and George Buendia; daughters: Cecilia Buendia, Angela Henry, Carolina Adame, Margarita Gonzales, Amalia Quesada and Marcella Wallace; brother, Herminio Buendia; sister, Senaida Hernandez and numerous grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Buendia, Jose Adolfo Buendia and Samuel Buendia.

The family would like to express our many thanks to Hospice of Midland, and the staff at Legacy Ranch Memory Home for the love and care they provided to Dad.
