Adan Bejarano Parraz, 78, of West Greene Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Carlsbad Medical Center. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, October 15, 2012, 3:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Roque Soltero officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Adan Bejarano Parraz was born on November 9, 1933, in Loving, New Mexico, to Sarapio Sr. and Maria (Bejarano) Parraz. He married Margarita Navarro and they have been married for 61 years. Adan enjoyed life on the farm. He always enjoyed the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Adan adopted 3 of his grandchildren: Mary Helen Morales and Adan Radatz, and great-grandson, Nevion Morales. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Maria Morales; grandson, Felix Munoz, Jr.; sisters: Geneva Parraz, Florentina Parraz, Paula Alvarez, Estella Olivas, Trine Chavez and Estolia Martinez; brothers: Santos Parraz, Gilbert Parraz and Alyfonso Parraz.Survivors are his wife, Margarita Parraz of Carlsbad, NM; daughters: Adela Munoz and husband, Felix, Elma Orozco and husband, Jimmy, and Elsie Ortiz and husband, Robert, all of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Mary Helen Morales, Richard Morales, Valerie Morales, Belia, Betty and Fernando Munoz, Irene, Eileen and Santiego Orozco, Jr., Iris Vasquez, Melissa Hernandez and Adam Radatz; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers: Pete Parraz, Efren Parraz, Frank Parraz, Sarapio Parraz, Jr.; sisters: Arcelia Parraz and Elvira Hernandez; step sisters: Anna Maria Parraz and Mary Helen Parraz; step brother, Gillermo Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
