Ada Lois Walker

Ada Lois Walker, 88, of West Pierce Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away December 31, 2011 at Lakeview Christian Home. There will be no public visitation. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 3, 2012, 2:30 PM, at Carlsbad Cemetery (old section) with Chaplain Terry McKean officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ada Lois Walker was born October 21, 1923 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Hugh Walker and brother, Raymond Calhoun. Survivors are two sons: Alan Fraini and wife, Anita of Houston, TX, Terry Walker and wife, Mariana of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Peggy Ferguson and husband, Jack of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Edith Baker of Carlsbad, NM; eight grandchildren: Dena Beaver, Karla Zielke, Trevor Walker, Paige Bradley, Ericka Strachan, Kristen Peelman, Jackie Record, Candice Puckett, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
